It’s less than a speck of dust
Without color and shape
An invisible entity
Unseen from Space
Our shy blue planet
Doing her daily round of spinning
Producing wondrous days and nights
Caring in her bosom
The endless oceans and life
Isn’t it a wonder that
A mere trifle
Bearing the infinity!

When we are destined
To live in a world
Torn by strife
We better follow Krishna
And adopt the spirit of detachment.
That is not shunning duties
Nor an escape from the world
But accepting life of intense activity
Fighting against the odds
Without a care for the upshot
Being absolutely free
From all the bondage
Of life
Our duty is to strive.

The soul that searched for light
From childhood,
Traversed miles after miles
Making difficult journey
Through sylvan world
And concrete jungle,
Treading uneasy path alone
“We shall put out thy light”,
Whispered the hovering Darkness
And accomplished Its mission.
But the immortal soul
Became Light itself
Giving warmth and force everywhere
And  to  everyone.

Naughty Muse

Naughty Muse

 Weeds grow
Without rhyme
Or reason
So does my verse.
Catchy, chatty,
Escape into the woods
And become the bush
I presume.
I am sorry;
I cannot
Stop this
